[Australia A N.Z. C’ahle Association.] POTATO CROP AFFECTED. SYDNEY, Jan. 19. Reports from Tasmania show cold snaps and droughts have adversely affected the potato crops. After an excellent start, the plants became wilted, particularly in the earlier districts. There is still hope for the late crop, providing an early rainfall occurs. Oats and pea crops also suffered severely.
