This moving of a second amendmom will mark a renewal of the battle for political supremacy, which was waged i„ the House last week, culminating i„ a victory for the Government by a narrow majority. The indications point to the continuance of a very hectic session of Parliament. Whether the Premier, Mr Mackenzie King, will ho opposed by a Conservative or a Progressive, when he runs in Prince Albert lias not been vet decided.
POLAR. EXPLOITS. PARIS, Jan. 17
Lieut. Emile Sequier is the latest, Polar aspirant. He announces that he will attempt to explore the Arctic in April by aeroplane. He will sail in the ketch “Perseverance” to Greenland, with eleven others. Thence he will sledge to MacKenzie River, where he will join the aeroplanes.
