ENGLISH FARM TRAGEDY.

[I)Y TfcbftuilAl’it— Mill CURBS ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, Jan. 14. A shocking tragedy has been discovered on a lonely farm in Warwickshire. Airs Crabtree, an attractive woman, aged 23 years, was found dead in the sitting room. She was apparently the victim of liainmer blows. George Sharpies, aged 20 years, employed on the farm as under-stockman, was found upstairs in a bedroom with a slight wound in the throat, and was arrested;
The tragedy occurred at Manor Farm, near Southam. Mr Crabtree, who is described as a gentleman fanner, left home early in the morning for Cheshire. The police are unable to communicate with him. There are two children, aged six months and
eighteen months. LONDON. Jan. 14. Following his arrest for the Firm murder. Sharpies was removed to Leamington Hospital, where lie is being guarded by police. Mrs Crabtree only took possession of the Manor Farm in October, coming from Esneston. in Cheshire, where her husband yesterday journeyed on a visit to their former residence. Sharpies came with the family from Esneston.
