PRINCE’S TOUR HELPS TRADE.
LONDON. Nov. 7. A striking tribute to the commercial advantages of the tours over-seas of the Prince of Wales was paid by Mr W. Cleverley Veall. managing director of Messrs Needham, Veall. and Tyzack. Limited, cutlery manufacturers, of Sheffield, who gave evidence yesterday at the Board of Trade inquiry into the application for the inioosition ot a duty on imported cutlery. Afr Veall, having spoken in detail of the effects of foreign competition on the home industry said: "AYe have had more inquiries For goods from the countries visited by the Prince of Wales than from any other countries. His Royal Highness is the best commercial traveller we have had.”
