COALAIITTKF .MEETING. . The Committee of the Club met last evening. Present: —-Messrs A\ . E. Williams (President), R. Adamson. A. Van-all. 11. Butland, .1. .1. Alclntosh. Ai. Houston, C. Neville. C. J. P. fit'll cis. F. .McGregor and .1. Peake. The minutes of the past meetinv were confirmed. \ statement of receipts and expendi tui-o in coir'-'ction with the recent summer meeting was discussed. Ila receipts were £3890. and expenditure L’3537. disclosing a profit of 9303 which members consider highly satisfactory. The programme for the Easter meet ing providing £650 tor stakes was submitted and finally adopted. The President reported that Air 11 Rutland wished to be relieved of (hr duties of starter. Mr Rutland pointed out lie had decided to retire and had discussed the matter with Air R. Hatch who would undertake the duties. Air McGregor referred to the mist services rendered by Air Rutland in starting and in course improvements, also as t' the -ervices of Airs Rutland. Both bad given excellent services uuriug a hue number of years and be moved that in appreciation they be elected hie honorary members. Seconded by Air Sellers Other members present voiced their approbation ami the motion was carried unanimously.

Air R. Adamson proposed the following members : Airs T. E. A. Sedilou, Alt’ H. Kidd. Air .T. Woo Iho use and Afr and Airs Turner. .Seconded bv Air .T. .T. Mclntosh and carried. Messrs Neville. AVilliams and Evans were - appointed to confer with the Trotting Club on matters in connection with course arrangements. Tt was resolved to express regret at the absence of the Secretary, through illness.
