Play in the Dominion Bowling Tourney commences to-morrow with the singles. ■Mr Melbourne Orchard, of Christchurch, and recently of England, arrived at Dunedin yesterday, and he will play in the tourney with a Christchurch rink.

The members of the British Rowling party, comprising a total of 57,"including the ladies, arrived at Dunedin on Saturday evening, and were welcomed at the Station by the Mayor, Mr H. L. Tapley, M.P.. on behalf of the citv.

Airs Cook, representing the Ladies’ Bowling Association, made a presentation to each of the visiting ladies of a greenstone tiki.
