THE DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.
[by TELEGRAPH rER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MUSIC COMPETITIONS. DUNEDIN. Jan. 7. At the Exhibition Competitions R. Allison (Christchurch) won the baritone solo. Miss Rliona Dee (Nelson) was second in the soprano operatic solo. Miss Ethel Wallace (Grevmouth), was first in the violin solo for amateurs. with Alex Muni'o (Christchurch) second. The judge’s comments on Miss Wallace's playing were:—“Great taste, artistic fashiwn. most agreeable player. double stopping nicely in tunc, expression good throughout.”
