ROME. Jan. 7. Signor Luzzatti. an ex-Premier, in an article in tho “Messiagero,” recalls that Edward 111 did not repay a loan of II million florins to Florentine hankers in 1345 and that the interest thereon at 2\ per cent, wipes out the whole of Italy’s present debt to Britain.
SPAHLINGER’S CURE. LONDON, Jan. C. Spahlinger will arrive in England in January. He confidently anticipates the success of his bovine tests. Sir Jas. Allen has arranged that Spahlinger’s intricate and fragile instruments shall not lie subjected fo customs inspection.
