LATE LOCALS.
A requisition, largely signed, is being presented to-morrow to Mr D. J. Evans, asking him to consent to allow himself to lie re-nominated for the vacancy on the Borough Council. Keenan’s Inis will ho running to tho Grey month Trots to-morrow and Wednesday and patrons would he well advised to hook their seats. The hits will lilt passengers at Riinu, Woodstock, Kmiieri and Hokitika, departing from the latter place at 10 a.m.
