ITALY OVER ALL!
FASCIST NEWSPAPERS’ BOAST. ROME, Dec. 25. German dissatisfaction with the Italian treatment of the Germanspeaking inhabitants in South Tyrol has aroused Italian feeling. The Rome newspapers. in particular, censure what one Fascist newspaper, the "Impero,” calls ‘■our instinctive racial enemy.” The “Trnpcro” declares that Italy will never play second fiddle to Germany again, and launches into a general tirade against foreigners, declaring that most of them are unworthy, and one Italian is worth a thousand outlanders.
The same newspaper announces tlie organisation of a society aimed at perpetuating the Italian control of the Tyrol, and impressing on the world Italian supremacy. Its slogans include the following:— “Every foreigner must enter Italy under a religious spell. “Ancient Romans conquered all the peoples of the world: the Italian of to-day is insuperable.’’
