(Received tins day at 11.25 a.m.) PEKIN. December 30. General Ilsiihutseng has been assassinated. He left for Pekin with the object of seeing Sunchuanfang and other militarists. According to railway police reports, Lurhengwu, a son of General Luchinehiiiig whom, Hsuschntseiig invited to a banquet at Tientsin in 1918 and shot with his own revolver, threw a bomb when the train reached Langfang killing Hsil and several members of bis staff. Ltichengwsu is issuing a circular telegram, staling the motive was revenge for bis father’s death. Luehcngwu is a cousin of Feugyuhsiang.
