HISTORIC HOUSE DESTROYED LONDON, December 25,
Fire destroyed Hagley Hall, in Worcestershire, the four centuries old seat of Viscount Cobhnm, who, accompanied by him family of children, a house party and the servants wore all forced to escape in night attire. The losses include hooks, tapestries, pictures and .sLatuary, dating from the time of Charles the First, also busts of Shakespeare, .Milton, Dryden and Spenser.
