Air A. Naneokivell's Leyland lorry was burnt at Inc Diggers Sawmill yesterday morning, the supposed cause, being backfiring. At. the Police Court this morning AYalter John Thorpe of Woodstock was charged with assault and causing actual bodily harm to Frederick Thorpe (fattier). A remand was granted to February 4th. Tho death suddenly occurred yesterday at t lie (trey River Hospital, of Air James Henry Jennings, a wellknown sa" miller. formerly of Bell Hill, and .Marlborough. Deceased, who was admitted live weeks ago to ti c Hospital was a. sawyer by trade, and had tx-'ca for years in partnership with -Mr Gordon Webb in milling work.
