South Australia sought desperately for runs today. but, after lunch, the wickets fell rapidly. V. Richardson being the only one to defy the attack. He batted brilliantly all round the wicekt, and scored rapidly off Gregory and Mai Icy, eventually falling a victim to the latter through Oldfield. In South Australia’s second innings Gunn made 59, V. Richardson fil. Rundell 3*l, A. Richardson 24, Gregory took -1 wickets for 75 runs, Mai ley 2 for 64. and Kellewuy ,’i for 57. ADELAIDE, December 23. N.F.W. won by an innings and 91 runs. NELSON. December 22. The cricket match. Nelson College v. New Plymouth High School was won by the College by 7(1 runs on the second innings. The College scored 293, and the School 194.
