MINERS’ BALLOT.
FIVE-DAY WEEK CARRIED. GREY MOUTH, Dee. 2d. The ballot by the State Miners’ Union on the question of the five-day-a-week coal producing policy was counted yesterday, the result being a majority of -14 votes in favour of the file-day week. The details of the voting are as follows: —For Discountinuanco of Five-day Policy 121 ; For continuance of Five-day policy 165; informal 16; majority for eontimiapce -11.
