Store Pigs.— A mod i tun yard ill" ami a keen demand. especially for lvonnerl. Small sveanors made 2:fs to 275, better sorts 2!ts to 3-1 s. slips 3ns to 30s. medium -Ills to Ins. huge to .30 s. Pat Cattle.—Another very largo yarding. comprising .325 head. The quality was very irregular and a la rye proposition of old cows were yarded. Although prices were easier by about 2('s per head till round, considering the larjie yarding of lambs the sale must lie considered a really good one. It is marvellous where it all goes to. West Coast and country butchers helped to keep things going. Prime steers made Clo to Cl>t JOs, extra to C2O 2s fid.

Mutton.—A medium yarding; mostly of wethers, and, generally, very good quality. Butchers are evidently not too keen on mutton at this period' and as lamb is considerably cheaper to the public this season than for some lew years the trade, is pushing lamb to the detriment of mutton. The large yard ing of heel also must effect the mutton market. Brices all round to-day were about Is below last week. Brims wethers made AOs to A2s (id, extra to ;l!s I Oil. medium 27s till to 20> (id. others down to 2(is, prime ewes 2.’5s (id. to 28s, extra to Ails 7d. medium 21s to 2As, lighk-r 18s (id to 20s (id, others to 1 Is. Fat Lambs. A very large entry, about. 2.000. The sale was good throughout; in fact, despite the large yarding, tile sale closed firmer than it opened. There was practically no quotable difference from last week. The over-all price was fid to !)Jd.
