Tim / |,airman le'erml to ike death of Queen Alexandra and moved that t|,e Board place on record its deep sorrow in the death of tlie Queen-Mother. Seconded by Mr Richards and carried. Inward correspondence included a quantity of formal letters which' were received. The Dominion .Meteorologist regretted the termination of weather reports from Hokitika. The .Marine Department wrote re weather reports, forwarding Harbours Amendment Act 1925, and acknowledging receipt of balance sheet. From Harbours Association reporting Association Conference to be held on .March 4th. From Lloyd’s Surveyor, acknowledging receipt of report on harbour. The Signalman reported a straight channel with Hilt of water and that 2ltt)ft of the south walling bad been w a shed away. R crei veil. Accounts amounting to £134 Ls wore nnssed for payment. The Secretary was instructed to take legal proceedings without notice for the recovery of all accounts due to the Board. The Chairman reported that 23 of the piles from the smith wall bad washed up on the beach. and be bad instructed. that they should be carted to the wharf to lie available there for repairs. Approved. Tlie Board rose at (5 p.m.
