The dip this year—owing to the wretchad weather conditions through the winter and early spring months- iiiinclt lighter, so that, taking the two factors into consideration, many woolgrowers will have to he content with a wool cheque considerably less than Unit of last year, there is no ground for pessimism in regard to the agricultural outlook, hut. viewed against the roseate background of a record year, the prospective prices this season are not altogether inspiring- In view ol this, vigilance on the part ot impnrteis is necessary.—Christchurch "Sun.”
