WELLINGTON. Dec. S. Auckland bowlers had a busy day to-dav in the contest for the Thomson Shield match between Carlton (Auckland), and Wellington. Good bowling was seen in the morning Carlton met Wellington. _ and defeated the local players by 107 to So. Puiy was resumed in the afternoon and a train Carlton won by 113 to ■'3. At a" social function much enthusiasm was displayed.
