The granting of facilities at Auckland for the hospital training of sixthyear medical students was discussed by the University College Council. Mr Kenneth AlacKenize said the University Commission had suggested medical students in their final year at Otago University would he given facilities for hospital work ill places other than Dunedin. The commission had .specifically mentioned Auckland hospital. The Cliairman of the Hospital Board had promised facilities for sixth-year students would lie available at the hospital. There was sufficient staff and apparatus at Auckland for the work, and the stall' was willing to teach under the auspices of the college council.
