To-day the Alaloja’s workers declined to continue to discharge her and refused to work on other steamers, including the Ayrshire, which has just arrived with a large refrigerated cargo. The strikers and employers conferred this afternoon and though the result is not announced it is believed there is 1 the prospect, of work being resumed tomorrow.
