Labour leaders do not view with favour n proposal from Sydney that Labour Parliamentary candidates he selected by Trade Unions. They state such a proposal would have to he endorsed by the Federal Executive of the Party which usually meets once yearly, hut so far il has not been submitted to the executive which is the only body able to authorise the step suggested.
