THE CROWDS CONTINUE. [uy TELEcnvrn—rEß press association. DUNEDIN. Dec. 3. The attendance at the New Zealand and South Seas International Exhibition lias followed the barometer up. The last two days it has been over IG.(XX) on each occasion. The total up to and including yesterday lias been 246,919. Even the Exhibition authorities have been surprised at the way in which the attendance has kept up. “Our experience since the opening day lias been quite a revelation, particularly when the weather conditions are considered. The success of the exhibition has been amazing.” This was the opinion expressed to a “Tiines’s" reported l>y the General Manager, Air C. R. Hainsworth. lie said that the present undertaking reminded him of the first exhibition with which, ho was connected. It was held in a city where, within a radius of nine miles, there was a population of over 1,090.000. but the average dailv attendance exceeded those of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition by very few. AYlten the great . difference in population was consulored. the result was a wonderful ttidication of the immense popularity of the present exhibition. The Directors have decided, in view of the heave demand on the Argvll and Sutherland Highlanders Military Band throughout the holiday season," to give them a rest from Alomlay to Friday next week. After next week, therefore, the visitors will b 0" sure of hearing this wonderful hand, whatever the date of their visit to the oxhibitiom^^^^^^^
