It was reported that the children's section of reading matter was now in order, hut so far only two subscribers had been enrolled. It was resolved that the chairman, with the permission of ihe Rector of the Siate School, address the children on Friday afternoon, and point: old. the advantages of enrolling and becoming regular subscribers. The secretary reported that Air Niven had taken in hand the management of the Museum room. Air Niven was authorised to procure the labour required to complete the work. It was decided to draw the attention of tile Uunmgh authorities to the necessity of completing the repairs to the roof of the Library building. Air Alalotiey suggested that the list ~f Magazines' taken might t>e revised. The matter was referred to a sub-com-mittee of Messrs Maloney. Niven, and Wilson to allend to.
