Messrs M. Houston and Co.. report: — Our entry at yesterday's sole at the nl«>vo yards consisted of 70 prime shorn wethers and (18 fat cattle. There was a large attendance of Iniyers and competition was good throughout the sale, and although prices realised showed a decline on the high prices at last fixture, the sale was, nevertheless a very good one. Ox heel realised from 4f>s to 50s per hundred, heifers from 42s to 48s, and cows from 35s to 40s. Fat. sheep realised very satisfactory prices We sold as follows:—On account of Nolan Bros.
