The school needed four extra room;: and the hoard was asked to spend thousands of pounds on a hall to get them. Mr P. I*'. Rarter, another trades union representative, moved that M.r Park should he asked to withdraw his statements. He declared that all the members of tr.e hoard were anxious to do their for the college. Mr Park asked which remarks the members objected to. lie said he gave all members credit for the best intentions. Ho regretted that they should take exception to anything he had said but be assured the board that his remarks were not meant in the spirit in which they were taken. When the original motion was put the plans for the hall were approved by eight votes to three.
