THE DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.

DUNEDIN. Nov. 26. To-day the feature at the NewZealand and South Seas Exhibition was a vist by the Governor-General. Lady Alice Ferguson, and Miss Orr-Ewing to the Great New Zealand Secondary Industries Pavilion. The manufacturers’ pavilion is the largest of all the Exhibition's huge buildings, three acres being under one roof, and 150 firms are taking part in the display, which, if organised hv itself, in any New Zealand city, would create a great stir. Before inspecting the display, which was organised by the Dunedin Manufacturers’ Association, His Excellency said he had been gretaly impressed with what lie had seen of New Zealand goods, but after lie bad completed bis tour, lie said lie had utterly tailed to realise the extent, variety and high quality of the goods made in the Dominion. He had seen goods displayed which lie never dreamed could be made in the Dominion. His Excellency was so interested in the display that he spent an hour and a-half in the pavilion, and his visits to other features had to he postponed. He managed to look over the aquarium which contains most interesting tanks of fresh water fish and magnificent hunting trophies and stuffed specimens of. New Zealand game.
