Heavy lighting has occurred at Rachaya. where three French columns relieved the garrison of two thousand, ivliu had been besieged in the citadel by the Druses, who bad burned the town, masacring many of the inhabitants. The Druses killed the French commander from an ambush.

Replying to Commander O. Kenworthy. in the Commons, Sir L. AVor-thingtoii-Evans said the source of the story of the German war time corpse factory was at present untraeeahle with any certainty. The War Office had permitted publication when a German order tended to corroborate the Berlin “ Local Anzoigers ” statement. LONDON November 21.
In the Commons the lion. L. C. M. Ainery stated’ that approximately 188,500 assisted emigrants left Britain from the Ist January. 1020, to 81st October last. .Mr Baldwin announced the Commons would not -sit on Friday next, the day of Oueen Alexandra’s funeral. The Opposition will, on Thursday, move a vote of censure in the Government for its failure to deal adequately with the* unemployment question.
