IN AVAR D CORRESPONDENCE. From Westland County Council advising that a vote of £3O had been made for further publicity.—Received with thanks. From Borough Council forwarding cheque for £3O for publicity purposes. —Received with thanks. From Railway Department, notifying train time-table alterations. —Received. and alterations in the time-table approved as very satisfactory to the district. It was resolved to enquire when the turn-table would be put in at Hokitika. From Auckland Publicity League, notifying step, taken with regard to publicity.—Tteveived. From sumo oimniriii" if thorc was any possibility of arranging a sea trip from the Coast to Milford Sound.—Received. Air Bruce said it might he pnsishle to arrange for a trip by the Orevva. Air Jeffries thought the suggested trip might he brought under the notice of the Luion Company, ft was resolved to bring the suggestion under the notice of the shipping companies. R KPORTS. Dr Teiehelmann reported regarding the preparation of the new booklet, advance copy of portion of which was now to hand. The new issue promised to ho a very attractive publication. It was proposed to order 1,000 copies for early distribution. The Secretary reported L'IGD 12s fid was in hand for publicity purposes. Mr Craw said there was no reply yet regarding a AA r ednesday train to bake Mahiuapna for picnic purposes. It was decided to meet again as soon as a reply was received from the Shiprung Companies regarding an excursion from Grcymouth to the Sounds. The meeting rose at 8.13.
