A final reminder is given of the sale by public auction at M. Houston and Coy’s mart, Camp St., to-morrow at noon, of a valuable sheep and cattle run, situated at Upper Mikimui River, about 12 miles from Ross railway station. The property is lieing .sold in order to wind up a partnership, and will be offered as a going concern, including all live and dead stock, at present as follows : —l2O breeding ewes. 20l> ewe hoggets, 320 lambs, 12 horses and 21 head of fat and forward Hereford cattle, rising 4 years old; also sawmill plant etc. 'i ne area- of the block is about 6800 acres, of which 380 acres are held under Renewable Incase and the remainder under Pastoral Licenses, about 2000 acres being river flats and the balance hill-side country. There are approximately 1200 acres cleared and in grass, well sub-divided into convenient paddocks, and the buildins consist of 3-roomed house, hut. and a good shearing shed, capable of housing 150 sheep, also sheep dip and yards. The property is only partly improved, but in its present condition is capable of wintering 100 breeding ewes, and there is plenty of scope for improvements whereby the carrying capacity could lie doubled. Tins is a top-top proposition for an energetic mini with the necessary capital to iniorove and fully stock the land, and its vroximity to the railway is a decided advantage for the export of fat lambs.
