BRIGANDS’ TERRORISTIC M ET MODS. fu*p fT „ *f[Mes” SpTtvtnc.) DAMASCUS, Nov. 22. A lie lit between five hundred French and seven hundred brigands, under the leadership of Hassan Harral. resulted in thirty of the latter being killed and forty wounded, including Hassan. whose injuries are serious. The French losses were inning. Terroristic methods are being adopted by Hassau Harrat with a view to silencing the villagers regarding the movements of brigand hands. Throe villagers were found outside Bahelsharqs hanging to a tree decapitated, ami the body of a fourth was lying near. All had been tortured before death and placards affixed to their bodies, stating that they were executed traitors. One of the victims was a Moslem Muhtar of the village Jisscen.
