The German reply to the disarmament question was rushed telegraphically to the German Ambassador at Baris, on the latter’s intimation that the Allies would not announce the alleviations to be made in the Rhineland regime until the reply tv as received. The Ambassador has already informed M. Hriand as to the nature of Germany’s reply, which a report from Baris describes mainly as satisfactory.
