Official quotations are:—Now Zealand: Finest salted, 208 s to 2125; unsnited, 210 sto 21.45; other qualities. 200 s to 200 s. Australian: Salted, 200 s to 201 s; unsnited, 200 s to 201 s; other qualities (salted). Rills to 1965; other qualities (unsaltod), 160 s to 191*. Argentine: Unsalted, 170 sto 17(is: other qualities, 162 sto 168 s. Irish: Salted. 206 s to 2095; unsalted, 200 sto 21.05. Siberian: 170* to 190 s. Danish: 218 s nor cwt. CHEESE.

English, finest farmers’, is steady. Canadian is quiet. Official quotations arc unchanged. Estimated stocks of cheese on hand on November 2 in London, Liverpool and Bristol were: —Can-

adian and American 246,000 boxes, New Zealand and Australian 3300 crates against 227.700 and 20.100 af the same time last venr. HEMP. Tlie Alanila market is dull with an easier demand, hut there was a hotter inquiry at the close. “J ” grade Nov-cmber-.January shipments are valued at CIO per ton, Jnnuary-ATareh shipments £4l (buyers). Tho New Zealand market is dull with nominal value, Octo-her-Decembcr shipments. Highpoints, £39. Fair £35 10s per ton. WOOL. The Bradford market is quiet but firm. Top makers are confident. Present quotations are:—G4’s (warp) merino. 56d : 64’s (average), 54d ; 56’s (super half-bred), 37d; 50’s (half-bred), 29d: 40’s (prepared), 24 d per lb. TALLOW. The spot market is somewhat steadier. There was a fair demand at auction. Present quotations are unchanged with the following exceptions : Afutton, fine, 49s fid to 48s 9d : hoof, sweet and or mixed, 44s fid to 475; mixed, fair to good. 41s to 43s 6d ; gut. etc., 36s to 39s 9d per ewt.
