EIGHT ARRESTED. (Received this day at 8 a.tn.;
ROME, Nov. 9.
In connection with tbe anti-Mussolini plot the police made numerous raids in the Geneva district, eight being arrested and thirty detained for a judicial examination.
The arrested, include Giovanni Ansalo, the chief editor of the Socialist newspaper “lllavoro,” whose offices aie occupied by tbe police; Uliese Ducci, chief of tiie Free Italy Association, which was recently dissolved as siil>versive, also a brother of General Capello.
THE ITALIAN PLOT. ROME, November 7. Several persons have boon arrested being suspected of complicity in the plot to assassinate Signor Mussolini, who lias received thousands of telegrams of congratulations, not only in italv but from abroad.
The Fascist newspaper, “ Epoea,” says that the plot was a more ambi- r tions one than was originally supposed. It aimed, not only at killing Signor Mussolini, hut was intended to Im the starting point for a revolution and for the declaration of a republic.
