There is left only Li bora lis m, and it is to Liberalism that New Zealand will turn as Britain will have to turn, ere long, for a solution of problems that can be solved by the application of no other principles. It seems absurd to talk about principles in connection with politics in New Zealand at the present juncture, but all the to-morrows cannot be ns to-dav.
