OLD MAN’S DEATH. BLENHEIM, Nov. 9. Au old man named Edward Rees, or Reece, was found dead on a hillside an uit a mile from AVard. Appearances point to death from exposure. ILLEGAL OPERATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 8. Amy Glenn was charged before Mr Young, S.M., yesterday, with having unlawfully used an instrument on a young girl on October 21st. The case was heard before tlie bedside of _ the girl, who is dangerously ill in an institution. Her depositions having been taken, the accused was remanded till Mondav week.
