LICENSING ACT. A charge against tho licensee of the Masonic Hotel of allowing a prohibited person to remain on tho premises was dismissed. A prohibited person, on a charge of being found on licensed pi'emises (Alasonic Hotel) was fined 20s and costs 7s. On a further charge of procuring liquor the same defendant was lined 20s and costss 7s.
On a charge of being on licensed premises (Occidental Hotel) after hours, an offender was fined 40s and costs 7s. WITHOUT A LIGHT.
For allowing his motor cycle to he in Revel 1 Street imliglited after sunset W. Sutherland was'fined 5s and costs
DEFENCE ACT. On charges of failure to render personal service under the Defence Act, tho following were convicted and fined:—Robert Spoor, Donald Duncan, Eric Goodfellow, Stanley AA T . Dale, each 20s and costs 7s; Thomas Staines 10s and costs 7s.
Oil a charge of failure to notify his change of address under the Defence Act, Horace AA’illiams was fined 10s and costs 7s. MAINTENANCE ORDER.
An application for an affiliation order from tho Christchurch Road district, engaged the attention of the Court for several hours and at the conclusion an order was made for maintenance at the rate of 10s per week and also to pay expenses of birth .Cll 3s and costs £9 19s Sd.
