FASCISM IX VICTORIA. (Received this day at 10.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November G
In the Assembly, the Leader of the Opposition called upon the Premier to prevent the formation of Fascist organisations in Victoria, protesting against the introduction of such a movement in Australa. Ihe Premier replied that if it could he shown the Fascists were doing anything illegal, prompt steps would he taken, hut Fascism would prevent the state of affairs recently witnessed in Westralia and Queensland where the Government forces failed to prevent disorder. There would he no objection to it.
