GORED BY BUFFALO. NAKURA (Kenya) Sept. 22. A settler named Hunter, residing in Solai Talley .set out to shoot a savage buffalo, his native gun-hearer following him, when the buffalo suddenly came out of the bush and charged him. The gun-bearer, intending to divert the beast, fired at the precise moment that Hunter jumped aside and the settler received the bullet in his side. Almost at the same time the buffalo caught Hunter and gored and trampled upon him, killing him in a return charge.
