The standing of the political parties to-night is: One hundred Liberals. One hundred and sixteen Conserva-
tives. Twenty-three Progressives. Two Labour. One Independent. Three doubtful. The Liberals retain office with the support of the Progressives. Labour and the Independent. The Cabinet- will meet in Ottawa on Monday, after which there may be an announcement by the Premier.
