DOOR II AXDI.K DEATH. I.OXDOX. Sept. 7. Daniel Gray. aged 17, was arrested Ijv the Glasgow police in eniinectiui' with the death, of Charles Hughes in the works of Messrs Brown and Mae farlane. iron and steel merchants. Tollcross. where he was employed. Gray is charged with attaching one end of a wire to an electric switch in the workmen's hot by and the other end to the handle of the door of the bothy, with the result that when Hughes took hold of the door he received a charge of electricity and died from the shock. Gray was remitted yesterday to the sheriff, and was liberated on bail cl £2O.
