AMUSEMENTS.

Illvlt NIGHT OF ROMANCE ” —TO-NIGHT.

Moiv eomedieiinies! Constance Talmadgo declares that there aren’t enough girls making fun films in Hollywood. “ .Most girls prefer to become stars in the dramatic branch of motion pictures,” says Constance. “As a result the men have the comedy field almost to themselves. The list of male comedians is a long one. Strange to say, it is the ambition of almost every girl now engaged in comedy work to graduate into ' something more serious,’ as they express it. There’s a real opportunity in Hollywood for girls who have a genuine talent, as comediennes, but it must be that women don't like to be laughed at, for the opportunity is going to waste.” Constance’s latest First National comedy, “ Her Night of Romance,” was written by Hans Kraly, author of “Passion,” “ Deception ” and other photoplays. The picture will he shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. Constance’s leading man is Ronald Column, who also played in “ The "White Sister.” Coming on Wednesday Tom Moore and rsobel Elsom in the greatest of all sea dramas, “ Harbour Lights.” Millions have laughed and cried over its story of tempestuous lives. Millions more will bo thrilled by the superb screen version. On Thursday next the picturo everyone is waiting for “If Winter C'omes,” will be shown for one night only.
