(Contributed). The camp of the Second Troop lit Awatuna last week-end turned out to be one of the most successful yet held. Although the actual start was postponed from Ericlav night to Saturday morning mi account of rain, the weather for Saturday. Sunday and Monday. moved ideal for outdoor Work- ov all sorts, especially swimming. One goad record set up was that although tlie swimming poll was nearly half a mile from the sleeping quarters, and the morning air was fresh, yet everyone in c-amp had ducked below water within four minutes of “muse” at 0.30 each morning. All the campers were much more at home in The water by the end of the three days, and in signalling also much progress was apparent. while cooking ami camp iontine generally went excellently thanks to the patience end good-tempered energy of the two patrol leaders.
