Seddon came north from Waiho (forge yesterday, lie was able to attend the Wataroa Stock Sale and later to vi-it I tiler-Wanganui Flat, hi tlit* evening lie had a good meeting at llarihari. the commencing hour being delayed to permit visitors to the cattle sale returning home. .Mr W. Searle, M.C.C., occupied tin- chair, and introduced .Mr Seddon in a very cordial way. The address by .Mr Seddon dealt with farming matters, general polities, and local topics, and was well received. Questions were asked by .Messrs blende ami I,evetl and answered. A vote of thanks and confidence was proposed in whole hearted terms by .Mr .1. Mower, and seci'iuled by Air J. Adamson, and carried, concluding a very successful meeting. .Mr and Airs Scdduii return io Hokitika late to-night after the meeting at Ruatapu.
