Western Australia winning in a thrilling finish bv two feet. The spectators gave a great ovation In tho crews, some thinking that the result was a dead heat. The New Zealand stroke. Ximdos, said the crew had pulled well, hut had met their equals and were just beaten mi the post, idler a great race. The time was out in -tOsees. Western Australia won the final from Rockhampton by a length and a half.
