Mlt SEDDON ,\T KANIERI. The weather was so v.et and boisterous throughout yesterday that -Mr Seddon was forced to put off his proposed visit to South Hokitika and Arthurslowii to another date. Yesterday evening Mr Seddon visited Ivanieri and spoke in the Public Hall, Mr T. It. Clicstcrman, County Chairman, presiding. There was an excellent attendance, athough the weather was so unfavourable. The candidate had a good reception, and in the course of his political address a good hearing. He was applauded heartily at the (lose. An interesting (|Uestion on geological survey work was put and answered, and E. J. Forsyth proposed a vote of thanks and confideiKO. s; caking in very cordial terms of .Mr Seddon. Mr S. Head seconded the motion which was

Mr and Mrs Seddon visit Ross todav and return to Greymouth tonight after the address at the Totara Hall. NOMINATIONS. .lames O’Brhwi.
