THURSDAY, OCT. 22. (Before If. R. Lawry. Esq S.M.) LICENSING ACT. Four men were charged with being unlawfully on licensed premises (Club Hotel) after hours. Two appeared and pleaded not guilty. After hearing evidence by Sergt. King and two defendants. convictions were recorded. Two were lined 10- and costs 7s. and two 20s and costs 7s. One man. similarly charged, (Commercial Hotel) did not appear. Fined 20s and costs 7s. On a charge of riding a motor cycle at night, without a light, against Win.
