The early morning train from Dunedin to Palmerston, though strongly hraked on sighting him. .struck him, inflicting broken rihs and a bruised side. alleged failure to account. . NET,SON Oct. 21. At Takaka to-day 1. N. pleaded not guilty to a charge of failing to account for monies received, the property of N. Emms, and was committed for trial at the Nelson Supreme Court
