DUNEDIN Oct. Id. The Raranga’s men were released at 11.-10 this morning and returned to work on the advice of the secretary of the local liranch of the Seamen x Union and other union secretaries. AUCKLAND, October Id. The original crew of l lie Atlienie except seven, agreed to take the vessel to Wellington, ennditionally volunteer labour being employed and 7 men sent overland to join the vessel at Wellington. The owners agreed and Ike seamen joined the vessel in the stream. When the Atlienie was ready to sail the stokehold hands refused duty. The Company immediately had the crew and their baggage returned ashore. The Atlienie will be now manned entircy by free labour am! is expected to depart to-night.
So far there lias been no interruption of work on the Otaki or Port Nicholson, which are dischargng. The intention of the crews are unknown.
