There has been a series of sensational roldieries at Domingo. .Merry Del Yal, the brother of the famous Cardinal was robbed of priceless royal decorations; also jewels worth fid,ooo from his hotel apartments. .Mrs Donague's pearls, valued at (180,000 dollars were stolen from the .Metropolitan Hotel. Detectives failed to obtain the faintest clue regarding the latter until a reformed crook opened negotiations with them, allegedly offering the return of the pearls if one hundred thousand dollars reward was paid and 110 questions asked. Following the robbery at Los Angeles of registered mail last week the police raided a garage in San Pedro, which was the depot of ihe supposed robliers. They arrested tour men and seized one hundred thousand dollars worth of bonds buried under the floor, three hundred thousand dollars in cash and forty watches buried in a nearby field. ’ '
